soho's original bookshop

suggestion for a londoner with troubled sleeping patterns or not: have a wander at soho's original bookshop. medium_sohobooks.jpg open at midnight, eye pleasing visual books, classic and new, other stuff of many kinds (specially rock, theatre, film and other soho themes), many bargains and even a sex shop. i was in a more homely kind of mood so i didn't venture in there, but they seem pretty proud of it; it must be good. your classic trench coated man with your classic nervous face emerged from there and left quick. i spaced out on pretty art pages, and even running coins-in-the-pocket sort of budget, left the shop with two things in a bag.
a £2 baking book. see the results below. two delicious siamese mini focaccia (which delia online will explain you very well how to do if you want) and a film about someone called ray johnson, which turned out unexpectedly excellent. i'm about to watch it again.

news about me today - my first house

brilliant day, so far.

tv is great.

i was enjoying the extremely funny and flowing perfomances of the bbc news this morning, when the news finished and the house programs started. joanna, the presenter, said:

buying a house is probably the biggest investment you will ever make, and it could change your life, for wrong or right.

i went out to buy cigarettes, and, following the determinate buying pattern of the week, i bought a three bedroom cottage, for £5. and yes joanna, it has been the most significant and joyful acquisition of the day. i bought it in a charity shop. as i carried it to the counter, the clerk smiled at me broadly, the way shop people do when you buy the funniest thing in the shop, which they doubted would sell. they always sell if i happen to walk by. nature assigned me that role in the shop system or cycle. i get very excited when i see them.
after giving her the 3 one pound coins and the 2 pound coin, and she wrapping it badly with a bag too small, i said: cheapest house. she laughed hard and loud. i would say she has had some problems with houses.

when i was arriving to my place with the half wrapped huge house (half my height), i saw my neighbor with his bike, about to go in as well, so i kept on walking (passing my real house) to avoid interaction. which made me encounter an elderly woman, who looked at me with x-ray fixed consistency for as long as i was in her field of vision, with a half candid half crazy smile. i smiled back a bit and had to bite my lip not to laugh a bit, when two construction men at the other side of the road did the whistle thing to me. construction men can be rude, but many times, intriguing. i looked as gender neutral as i can. black coat from neck to knees, jeans, no make up. it must have been the house. how strange. once a construction man saw me carrying needles and said to me "please pinch my ass".

i had to turn around to get to my real house and walk by them again. they did it again. they saw me turn around. i'm not ashamed of turning around. oh yes, then my neighbor passed me by as well - it turned out he was going out, not in, so he saw me do the whole avoiding strategy.

that was long. see, this is why i don't want to write about me.
enjoy my house pictures. click on the thumbnails.
i will be more or less uncommunicated for a bit because i have started several projects and i'm quite excited.

free jimmy

christopher nielsen is a famous underground comic maker in norway. now he's launching a big budget 3d animation film. i usually keep away from 3d animations. i saw antz when it came out. since then every 3d animation trailer i've seen has seemed too long.
however, i'm going to watch this film. i think i should.

hahaha i just found another reason to watch it. i find this funny.

aside from that, "free jimmy" could actually be another title for "quadrophenia", couldn't it?

stupid.com gives american people the opportunity to purchase some boring artifacts as well as some undeniably exciting ones, such as this re-paintable watch, or a self twirling spagetti fork or some more.

gelitin

gelitin, as agreed by all the people who's been there, constitute the most enjoyable art experience you'll most probably ever have. ride rollercoasters, fly, get wet, hide, come out walking on a giant rabbit are merely little side effects.
